2. There look to be some campaign finance violations that might lead to charges and convictions. Too many flights, and those are expensive. There may also some violations of 14 C.F.R. 135 on the part of some of Easley’s flying buddies. The big question is, does any of this lead to deprivation of honest service? The charge that brought down Jim Black and Meg Scott Phipps.

For Larry the Provost guy and the ex-chancellor guy they just look like liars at the moment. As long as they tell the Grand Jury the truth, they’ll be in good shape. Providing they have not told differing stories to the FBI previously. You can bet that someone will go over their FBI statements and their Grand Jury testimony to check for any inconsistencies.

(1) Not likely. But we are seeing Iran’s very young demographic beginning to throw its weight around which will bring changes.
